Jeanne E. Gregory, 94, Grand Forks, N.D., died Friday at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Jeanne Elizabeth Hegge was born to Albeck and Bertha (Gunn) Hegge in Fargo, N.D. on Oct. 29, 1917.
Jeanne E. Gregory, 94, Grand Forks, N.D., died Friday at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Jeanne Elizabeth Hegge was born to Albeck and Bertha (Gunn) Hegge in Fargo, N.D. on Oct. 29, 1917. She attended St. Anthony’s Elementary School and Central High School in Fargo.
She married William C. Lincoln in 1942. She later married E. M. “Pop” Gregory in 1964 at Fargo. She lived in Fargo until 1985 when she moved to Grand Forks so that she could be close to family.
Gregory was an excellent knitter, a lover of dogs, and enjoyed watching western movies.
Gregory is survived by: a daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Hellerud, Grand Forks; a son, Robert D. Lincoln, Fergus Falls, MN; grandchildren, Dana (Deb) Hellerud, Michael (Cathy Thurston) Hellerud, Darren Hellerud, Brett (Kristal) Hellerud, and Tricia (Scott Buhler) Hellerud; 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her brother, Robert D. Hegge, and a granddaughter, Christine.
Memorial Services: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Memorial Service on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks.
