Myrtle was born on March 22, 1915 to John and Jennie (Otteson) Korsmo in Fargo, ND. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High in 1933. Myrtle worked in Fargo at United Electric Service and later at UESCO Warehouse in Fargo. She married Clifford Olson in 1938.

Bloomington, MN - Myrtle died Monday, October 22, 2012 at Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington, MN. Myrtle was born on March 22, 1915 to John and Jennie (Otteson) Korsmo in Fargo, ND. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High in 1933. Myrtle worked in Fargo at United Electric Service and later at UESCO Warehouse in Fargo. She married Clifford Olson in 1938.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clifford; brother John; and sister Evelyn. She is survived by her son Ralph (Joy); daughters, Nancy (Ray) Jorgenson, Shirley (Bill) Flittie, and Mary (Bruce) Witherspoon; brother Carl; and sister Alma. There are eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington, MN. A graveside service will be held at 2PM Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Springvale Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
Family requests memorials to Ebenezer Foundation through Martin Luther Care Center, Bloomington, MN.
