Marguerite Halvorsen died peacefully in her daughter, Tana's, home with the help of hospice on September 21, 2012. Marguerite Ann Lukkason was born August 11, 1926 in Grand Forks, ND. She attended Gustavus Adolphus college. Marguerite married Rolf Amund Halvorsen in Sidney, Montana. They lived in Minot, Miles City, and Great Falls before moving to Moorhead in 1958. In 2005 she moved to Littleton, Colorado.

Marguerite Halvorsen died peacefully in her daughter, Tana's, home with the help of hospice on September 21, 2012. Marguerite Ann Lukkason was born August 11, 1926 in Grand Forks, ND. She attended Gustavus Adolphus college. Marguerite married Rolf Amund Halvorsen in Sidney, Montana. They lived in Minot, Miles City, and Great Falls before moving to Moorhead in 1958. In 2005 she moved to Littleton, Colorado.

She was a bride forever to her husband, and a supportive & loving mother, grandmother, great -grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She was preceded in death by husband Rolf Amund Halvorsen, Mother Agnes Lukkason, Father Clarence Lukkason, brother Robert Lukkason, and brother Donny Lukkason.

Marguerite is survived by four daughters: Susan (John) Moorhead, Gretchen (Michael) Minneapolis, Pam (Ralph) Moorhead, Tana (Bob) Littleton CO and two sons: Jeff (Georgie) New York City, Bob (Dodie) Minneapolis. Eight grand Children: Stephen (Anne) and Michael (Lindsey) DiFiore, Thomas and Zoe Halvorsen, Luke, Megan, Jesse Slominski, William Coburn. Three great-grandchildren: Alex and Gabi DiFiore, Ethan DiFiore.

A memorial service of celebration of life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead on Saturday, November 10th, at 11 am.
