LAKOTA, N.D. - Rita Smith-Volk, 55, Spirit Lake Nation, near Tokio, N.D., died Sunday in Lakota Good Samaritan Center.
The wake will begin at 5 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m., Friday at Woodlake Wellness Center, Tokio. The procession to Woodlake will leave 4 p.m. Friday at Spirit Lake Casino and Resort. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the wellness center. Burial will be in St. Michael’s (N.D.) Catholic Cemetery.
