Rick Rein
Richard Thomas "Rick" Rein, 64, of Bellingham, WA passed on to a better place with God on November 27th, 2012 after a long illness. Rick was born on December 23rd, 1947 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Mike and Margaret Rein. The family later moved to Moorhead, MN. He graduated from Moorhead High School in 1965 and from Moorhead State University in 1969. He moved to Sacramento, CA after graduating from college. He was employed for 37 years as a special-education teacher in the Rio Linda (Twin Rivers), CA school district. He was married to Lois "Lynne" for over 31 years. They retired in 2006 to Bellingham, WA.He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Rein and sister Barbara Humason. He leaves his wife Lois "Lynne" and her three sons, Michael, Tim and Richard Leal, father Mike (Tina) Rein of Moorhead, MN, sister Pat (Dan) Geraghty of Moorhead, MN, sister Terri (Kirk) Rueb of Ashley, ND, brother Michael (Sharon) Rein of Moorhead, MN; 5 nephews: Zach Humason, Tony Geraghty, Michael Rueb, Matt Rueb, and Cole Rein; 3 nieces: Jess Elliott, Rachel Rueb, and Theresa Rein; 5 grandnieces: Kadence Geraghty, Zaida Geraghty, Kyenna Geraghty, Sienna Elliott, and Sidney Elliott.

Rick asked that no services be held. The family asks that memorials be sent to Whatcom Hospice, 2806 Douglas Ave., Bellingham, WA 98225 or the charity of your choice.
