Shelby E. Somerville, 25, of Lake Park, MN, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012, in Sanford Health, Fargo, North Dakota.

Shelby was born November 29, 1987, to Jeff Somerville and Kimberly Holloway-Somerville, in St. Mary’s Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up and attended school in Lake Park/Audubon. Shelby had an outgoing personality. He enjoyed dirt biking, hunting, snowboarding, and was very creative. He also had a passion for art and used his creative ability in his work. Shelby enjoyed the time he was able to spend with friends and loved his family. He will be dearly missed.

Shelby is survived by his parents, Jeff Somerville and Kimberly Holloway-Somerville; sisters, Laicy Somerville, Molley Somerville and Aubrey Somerville; grandparents, Keith Somerville, Bev Somerville, Connie (Alex) Kossick and Ron (Jeffney) Davis, great-grandmother, Adeline Murphy; aunt, Steffanie Davis; uncle, Brian Somerville; and cousin, Brendan Hendricks.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandprents, James Murphy, Harold and Norva Somerville; and great great-grandmother, Mabel Tengwall.

Visitation: Friday, December 7, 2012, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with prayer service at 7 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, MN.

Funeral: Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., in Eksjo Lutheran Church, Lake Park, MN.
