Barbara Gebeke, 64, Fargo, ND died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo.Barbara Ann Witt was born October 7, 1948 at Breckenridge, MN to Walter and Virginia (Waddington) Witt. She graduated from Fargo Central High School, then attended one year of classes at Interstate Business College. Barbara worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide and Dining Assistant.

Barbara Gebeke, 64, Fargo, ND died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo.
Barbara Ann Witt was born October 7, 1948 at Breckenridge, MN to Walter and Virginia (Waddington) Witt. She graduated from Fargo Central High School, then attended one year of classes at Interstate Business College. Barbara worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide and Dining Assistant.
She worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur and Fargo, Touchmark in Fargo, and also worked part time with One on One Catering. She was a lifetime resident of North Dakota.
Barb welcomed foster children in her home for 18 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She took great pride in her grandchildren and was loved by the clients she took care of. Barb will be greatly missed.
She is survived by a son, James (Maria) Jones, Moorhead, MN; two daughters, Diane Osland, Moorhead, Kari (Marty) Dahlen, Fargo; two brothers, Charles Witt, and Jim (Marlys) Witt, both Fargo; one sister, Marlys (Bob) Potter, Fargo, ND; one half-brother, Barney (Pam) Canada, Owasso, OK; three step-brothers, Maurie (Sandy) Goughnour, Amarillo, TX, Marshal Goughnour, Bemidji, MN, Carlton (Sandy) Goughnour, Fargo; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Mavis Witt.
Memorials are preferred to Lend a Hand Foundation.
Memorial Service: Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior and reception to follow. (family requests casual dress)
Final Resting Place: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
