Dorothy A. Foster

Dorothy A. Foster, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2012 at the age of 80. Dorothy earned her teaching degree and taught in both South Dakota and North Dakota. She was active in PTA, her church community, NDSU Woman's Groups, and the Fargo YWCA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Earl. Dorothy is survived by daughters Mary Beth Baron, her husband Alan, and son Ben, Sara Foster and her partner Georgia Koch, and older brother Steve Acheson, and four of her husband's siblings.

Services celebrating Dorothy's life will be held Thursday, December 27, at 2 p.m. at the American Lutheran Church of Sun City, AZ. Memorials. in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Freedom Plaza Scholarship Fund or the ALC Music Fund.
