Tessa E. Miller, age 16, of Hickson, ND, died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo.Tessa was a sophomore at West Fargo High School. She was active in West Fargo Volleyball and Junior Olympic Volleyball for six years. Tessa enjoyed reading, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and cousins. In the summer, Tessa treasured the time she spent at the lake with her grandparents, aunt, uncle, and their two young children.

Tessa was a sophomore at West Fargo High School. She was active in West Fargo Volleyball and Junior Olympic Volleyball for six years. Tessa enjoyed reading, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and cousins. In the summer, Tessa treasured the time she spent at the lake with her grandparents, aunt, uncle, and their two young children.
In keeping with Tessa’s loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to be an organ and tissue donor. Her legacy will live on, as her gifts of life will help save the lives of many people. The family requests that donations in Tessa’s memory be directed to LifeSource, Organ and Tissue Donation, 2550 University Ave. West, Suite 315 South, St. Paul, MN 55114.
Tessa is survived by her father, Todd, mother, Nancy (Suko), and sister, Chloe Miller, her grandparents; Patricia and Donald Suko of Rochert, MN, George and Delores Miller of Mahnomen, MN; six uncles, six aunts, and eleven cousins.
The prayer service for Tessa will be held Wednesday, December 12 at 7:00 pm with visitation from 4:00-7:00 pm at West Funeral Home in West Fargo. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 13, at 2:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church in West Fargo.
