Audrey Trego, 89, Fargo, ND died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at her home.

Audrey A. Grieger was born Sept. 2, 1923 near Erie, ND to Rudolph and Mildred (Collins) Grieger. She attended country school and graduated from Erie (ND) High School. She also attended Wahpeton School of Science. Audrey married Bernard "Pete" Trego on Oct. 20, 1943 at Fargo. They farmed at Erie for many years. She worked side by side with Pete farming, milking cows and raising the kids. They moved to Fargo in 2002.

She is survived by husband, Pete; two children, Karol (Charles) Nyberg, Grand Forks, ND and Keith (Paulette) Trego, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren, Jeff (Katie) Nyberg, Scott (Sarah) Nyberg, Rebecca (Brian) Meisenhelder, Shane (Shannon) Trego, and Mark (Megan) Trego; nine great grandsons; and a brother, Ralph Grieger, Fargo.

Audrey was preceded in death by parents; brother, Robert Grieger; and sister, Joyce Ojala.

Memorial Service: Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at 1 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Final Resting Place: Arthur Cemetery.
