Nancy Louise Sutherland was born November 22, 1920, in Houghton, MI, to Harry and Wanda (Norman) Sutherland. She was raised in that area where she graduated from high school.Nancy was united in marriage to William P. Hoffman on February 7, 1942, in Flint, MI. They lived for many years in the Fergus Falls, MN, area, where Nancy worked for a glass company.

Nancy Louise Sutherland was born November 22, 1920, in Houghton, MI, to Harry and Wanda (Norman) Sutherland. She was raised in that area where she graduated from high school.
Nancy was united in marriage to William P. Hoffman on February 7, 1942, in Flint, MI. They lived for many years in the Fergus Falls, MN, area, where Nancy worked for a glass company.
They moved to Dilworth, MN, in 1969, and William died February 12, 1987. She moved to Horace, ND, in 1998, to live with her son. She entered Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, in April of 2010, where she died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at ninety-two years of age.
Nancy is survived by her three children, Kathryn (Carl) Jarvis, Karen Thompson, and Bill Hoffman; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Perry Sutherland, and Noel (Virginia) Sutherland.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 20, 2012, from 1 – 2 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Burial will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Harding, MN.
