Edward J. Klepperich, 73, Fargo, ND passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.

Ed was born May 20, 1939 in St. Paul, MN to Herbert and Margaret (Amon) Klepperich. He attended Creton Alexander Ramsey High School and the University of Minnesota.

Edward J. Klepperich, 73, Fargo, ND passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.

Ed was born May 20, 1939 in St. Paul, MN to Herbert and Margaret (Amon) Klepperich. He attended Creton Alexander Ramsey High School and the University of Minnesota.

On December 28, 1957 Ed married Mary Lou Franz. He owned and operated ESS Computer Inc until his retirement in 1998.

Ed was an active member in St. Mary's Church of Two Inlets and the Knights of Columbus.

He loved reading, fishing, hunting and the New York Yankees. If you wanted to make him smile, you just had to mention his grandchildren.

Ed is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; children, Jodi (Lee) Ernst, Prior Lake, MN, Denise (Rick) Hertel, West Fargo, ND, Tom (Jackie) Klepperich, Big Horn, WY, Cathi (Jon) Tiedeman, Moorhead, MN, David (Theresa) Klepperich, Fargo; 21 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother Chuck (Pat) Klepperich; and sister Louise (Roger) Pivoran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Tom, and infant sister Katherine.

VISITATION: 5-7 PM Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo

PRAYER SERVICE: 7 PM Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11 AM Friday, December 28, 2012 at Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo
