Waldo “Wally” McDougall, age 78, of Mankato, and formerly of Hawley and Hitterdal, Minnesota, died December 26, in Mankato.Memorial Service 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 2, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato. Visitation 9 – 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at church. Spring burial in Silver Lake Cemetery, rural Hawley. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Wally graduated from Hitterdal High School in 1952 and Moorehead State Teachers College in 1961.
Wally is survived by his wife, Sharon (nee Larson); daughter, Sue Shea; son, Jay (Megan); five siblings and many extended family.
