Randall Wayne Berndt was born on Dec. 8, 1950 to Wayne and Beatrice (Hill) Berndt in Erie, ND.

Randall W. Berndt, 62, Valley City, ND, died on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 in Mercy Hospital, Valley City, ND.

Randall Wayne Berndt was born on Dec. 8, 1950 to Wayne and Beatrice (Hill) Berndt in Erie, ND.

Randy worked during his early years on the family farm. Later moving to High Soaring Eagle Ranch in Valley City, then to Arthur Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, ND, and finally to the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City.

Randall was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Patty Berndt.

He is survived by his sister, Lona (Johan) Finley, Henderson, NV; brothers, Jerry, Grand Rapids, MN, Doug, Arthur, ND, Dean, Henderson, NV; nieces, Paige and Lane; nephews, Jerad, Tyler, Chad (Lindsey), Payne, Taylor, Jacob; great nieces, Harper and Avery; great nephew, Dalton.

Visitation: Thursday from noon to 2 pm in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at 2 pm in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Burial: Friday at 10 am in the Erie Cemetery, Erie, ND.

The family prefers memorials directed towards the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, N.D.
