Doris Stockburger, 74, West Fargo, ND, died Monday, December 31, 2012 in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Doris Jean Anderson was born January 16, 1938 in Fargo to Edward and Ellen (Campbell) Anderson. She was raised at Streeter, ND and graduated from Streeter High School. She married Irvin Stockburger September 9, 1956 in Streeter. That year they moved to Key West, FL, then Boston, MA in 1958. They returned to Fargo in 1960 and moved to West Fargo in 1965. Irvin Died in 2008.

Doris loved cooking, crafts, family activities and especially the Christmas season.

She is survived by her sons, Scott (Cheryl) and Kent, both of Fargo; daughter, Reene (Greg) Akason, West Fargo; sister, Lois (Bernard) Fuchs, Downer, MN; brother, Keith (Ann) Anderson, Atlanta, GA, and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother

Memorial Service: Friday, January 4, 2013, 10:00 a.m. in the West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND.
