Lucille Weber, 96, Casselton, ND died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, ND.

Lucille Rose Kukowski was born June 23, 1916 in Beach, ND. She attended Chama Country School until the 8th grade and graduated from Beach High School in 1932. She then attended Dakota Business College in Fargo. Upon graduation, she was employed for 10 years by New York Life Insurance Company in Fargo.

Lucille Rose Kukowski was born June 23, 1916 in Beach, ND. She attended Chama Country School until the 8th grade and graduated from Beach High School in 1932. She then attended Dakota Business College in Fargo. Upon graduation, she was employed for 10 years by New York Life Insurance Company in Fargo.

Lucille married Joseph H. Weber on Jan. 16, 1946 at Ft. Snelling, MN. They made their home in Casselton. Joe managed the Red Owl Grocery Store in Casselton which they purchased in 1962. Lucille was employed by the Casselton Elevator Company for many years and later worked at the grocery.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Randi) Weber, Atlanta, GA and Robert (Diane) Weber, Casselton; seven grandchildren, Charles (Jen) Cardiff, Tracie (Sean) Ambrose, Erin Weber, Sara (Adam) Busch, Joseph (Bridget) Weber, Jessica Menkin and Ethan Menkin; five great grandchildren, Spencer, Emma, Hannah, Caden and Jackson.

She was preceded in death by husband, Joe; parents, Joseph and Vina Kukowski; sister, Marcella; an infant sister; and brother, Joseph Jr.

Visitation: Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 from 5 to 6 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Casselton.

Funeral: Wednesday at 10:30 AM at St. Leo’s Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: St. Leo’s Cemetery.
