Dagny Pederson, 94, Fargo, ND died on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Elim Care Center, Fargo.

Dagny Pauline Krohg was born Oct. 18, 1918 on the family farm near Hatton, ND to Christian and Emma (Peterson) Krohg. She graduated from Hatton High School. Dagny married Joseph Pederson on Aug. 17, 1938 at Portland, ND. They made their home near Hatton where they farmed for many years. She worked as an operator for Bell Telephone and later as a bookkeeper for nearly 20 years as the company changed names. They moved to West Fargo, ND in 1997. She entered Elim Care Center in March 2012.

She enjoyed playing bridge and golfing.

Dagny is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Vellenga, Fargo, Betty (Gene) Torness, Big Stone City, SD, Judy (Lyle) Lauritsen, West Fargo; nine grandchildren, Karla (Gene) Redmond, Dean (Jennifer) Vellenga, Jackie (Scott) Badger, Scott (Lisa) Torness, Carolyn (Jerry) Hurd, Ryan Lauritsen, Jason (Stephanie) Lauritsen, Sara (David) Schneck, and Lindsey Lauritsen; 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Brown and Minerva Hove.

Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 from 5 to 7 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.

Funeral: Thursday at 2 PM at Elim Care Center Chapel, Fargo with visitation one hour prior

Burial: Carl Ben Eielson Cemetery, Hatton.
