Thomas Albert Kiernan

Thomas Albert Kiernan, age 80 of Fargo, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Manorcare Health Services. He was born on December 11, 1932 in Jamestown, North Dakota. He graduated from Jamestown College and the University of North Dakota. He served in the US Army, received the National Defense Service Medal, and was stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado and Fort Lee, Virginia. He was an industrial painter at FMC in Minneapolis for many years before retiring to Fargo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Francis and Cecilia Mary (Russell) Kiernan and his brothers Robert and Victor. He is survived by a niece, Mary (Rick) Hill, Grandbury, Tx., and three nephews, Mike (Maureen) Kiernan, West Fargo, ND, Ed (Dawn) Kiernan, Eureka, Mo., Patrick (Tracey) Kiernan, Carlsbad, Ca., and several great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 11, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in W
