Deloris Lucille (Forde) Langley, 84 of Warwick, ND passed away at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake on Friday, January 11, 2013.
Funeral Services on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Warwick Lutheran Church, Warwick, ND.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake. Visitation on Saturday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Deloris was born December 1, 1928 at Pekin, ND, the daughter of James and Mabel (Tufto) Forde. She attended school in Pekin, then Warwick Public School after the family moved to a farm near Warwick in 1941, graduating in a class of one in 1946.
Deloris married Byron J. Langley on November 11, 1947. They farmed and ranched near Warwick. Deloris devoted her love, time and energy on her family, and enjoyed attending many of their sporting events and activities from piano recitals to rodeos.
She was a member the New Rockford Golf Club, the Warwick Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid and participated in many Democratic-NPL activities with her husband.
Survivors: her husband Byron Langley, Warwick; children: Darla (Bob) Miller, Menoken, ND, Maxine (Robert) Nordick, Horace, ND, James E. (Mary) Langley, Gene (Peggy) Langley and Preston (Marnie) Langley all of Warwick; 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother: Howard Forde, Mandan, ND; sister-in-law Beatrice Cudworth and brother-in-law Frank (Lois) Langley all of Sheyenne.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Maxine Forde and brother, John Forde.
