Loren A. Anderson

Loren A. Anderson died peacefully January 16 at the Heritage Park Care Center in Carbondale CO after a long illness. Loren, the son of Albin E. and Emma D Anderson, was born in Fullerton ND on May 6, 1927. A West Point Graduate, Loren served 27 years in the Air Force and taught 14 years on the Engineering Faculty at the University of Central Florida.

Loren is survived by his wife Marje (Thomas) Anderson, two sons, Loren A, (Janet) Anderson Jr. and Charles K (Sandra) Anderson, two step-children Elizabeth (Mark) Richter and George David Fisher. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His brother Donald (Joanne) Anderson lives in Fargo.

Loren will be buried at the US Air Force Academy in a private family service on January 23, 2013. A Memorial Service will also be held for Loren on May 6, 2013 (his birthday) at the Air Force Academy. In lieu of flowers,the family asks for contributions in Loren's name to the NDSU Development Foundation PO Box 5144 Fargo ND 58105 designated for the Albin and Emma Anderson scholarship fund.
