Jerome “Jerry” G. Peckskamp, 83, formerly of Fargo, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Guardian Angels by the Lake in Elk River, Minnesota.Jerry was born April 17, 1929 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Peter and Cornelia C. (Gebhardt) Peckskamp. Jerry graduated from Sacred Heart Academy (Shanley). He served in the Korean War and upon returning home from service he received a Business Degree from NDSU. He joined Burroughs Corp where he worked until he retired to Tacoma, Washington. He returned to Minnesota to be closer to family.

Jerry was a master bridge player and a great cribbage player. He also loved gardening, hunting and fishing.
Jerry is survived by his ex-wife Carol; sons, David, Fargo, Danny (Jane), Apple Valley; daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Munger, Elk River; sisters, Eileen Barbour, Audrey (Jim) Murray; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard Thomas and brother-in-law John Barbour.
FUNERAL MASS: There will be a Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church starting at 10:00 A.M. with visitation at 9:00 A.M.
