Dolores "Grandma" Johnson
Dolores Johnson died January 23, 2013. Delores was born June 16, 1916 in Fargo, North Dakota to Ingbert and Dusean (Raaum) Olson. She graduated from Fargo Central High School and worked at St. Johns Hospital before marrying Arnold Johnson on October 5, 1938. They farmed in Richland County before moving to Fargo. She worked at Woolworths and was the first employee at the South Fargo K-Mart before retiring in 1982.In addition to her husband Arnold, who died in 1984, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Marriam “Bud”, Joseph “Babe”, Kenneth and Lyle Olson and Percy Thompson; sisters: Violet Ness, Viola Cull. She leaves behind her daughters LaVonne (Fred) Selberg and Barbara (Calvin) Maasjo, grandchildren Cathy (Bart) Bridwell, Larry (Amy) Selberg, Brian Maasjo, Lori Maasjo and great grandchildren Sarah and Zach Bridwell, and James and Amanda Selberg as well as many friends and family who called her Grandma or Auntie Dee.
