David G. Swanson, 64, passed away peacefully from natural causes Monday, January 21, 2013 at his home in North Fargo.

David G. Swanson was born January 27, 1948 to George G. and Patricia L. (Tuski) Swanson in Moorhead, Minnesota. Dave attended school in Barnesville, Minnesota graduating in 1967. He married Tina Hager in 1970 in Comstock, Minnesota. They made their home in Fargo, North Dakota. He worked as a welder with several area construction companies.

Dave enjoyed fishing, target shooting, 4-wheeling, and time spent at the family farm in Michigan, North Dakota.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Tammy (Wes) Vander Bush of Fargo, Kristie Swanson and Mike Rehder of Fargo; 2 grandchildren, Ashley and Nick Vander Bush; and ex-wife, Tina Swanson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Judy and brother, Jan.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Monday, January 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo with a gathering of friends from 1-2 PM.
