Florence Mae Ochsner was born November 26, 1924 in Zeeland, North Dakota to Theophil and Frieda (Walker) Ochsner.

Florence Mae Ochsner was born November 26, 1924 in Zeeland, North Dakota to Theophil and Frieda (Walker) Ochsner.

She passed away at Kindred Hospital South University-Fargo, ND on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.

As a child, Florence moved with her family to a farm west of Gardner, ND. She attended school in Gardner.

On October 15, 1944, she married Bennie Rau in Linton. They farmed east of Linton until 1961. That year they moved to Fargo where she worked at the Fargo Veterans Medical Center. She retired in 1989 after 28 years of service.

Florence was proceeded in death by her husband, Ben; her parents; brothers: Ruben, Eddie, Eugene, Hugo, Fritz, John, Raymond and David; sisters; Linda, Esther and Elsie.

Her survivors include daughters, Karen (John) Ringsrud, Lakota, ND; Shirley (Jim) Kondelis, Fargo, ND; son, Todd Rau, Fargo, ND; brother, Larry Ochsner, Buhl, MN; sisters, Lavina Brag, Fargo, ND; Viona Symons, Madera, CA; Norma (Harlan) Lemke, Dilworth, MN; Millie Stagner, Springfield, MO; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Saturday, February 2, 11 a.m. at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Chapel, Fargo, ND.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
