Grace Elizabeth was born September 11, 1925, to Harry and Gladys (Smart) Marsden, in Hendrum, MN. She graduated from high school and moved to Fargo where she worked for Northwestern Bell.Grace married Carl R. Krabbenhoft, Jr. on November 27, 1953, and started her career as loving wife and mother in Sabin, MN. She loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, crossword puzzles, and was active at her church. Grace died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, at eighty-seven years of age.

She is survived by daughters, Jane (Tim) Lobitz, and their children, Amy and Allison, Mary (David) Rosenfeldt, and their children, Tyler and Taryn, and Linda’s children, Jill (Scott) Schroeder, Kari Akers, and Dustin Akers; great-grandchildren, Ashlin, Skylar, Gage, and Kyra; sister, Virginia (Gordon) Dyrud; sister-in-law, June Marsden; many nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Linda; and brothers, Howard and Jim Marsden.
Grace’s family would like to thank the loving and caring staff of Eventide in Moorhead.
Visitation for Grace will be Friday from 5 – 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Her funeral will be Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 10:30 AM, in First Presbyterian Church, Moorhead. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
