Pat Carlson, 66, Moorhead, MN, died on Saturday, February 2, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving family under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Pat Krabbenhoft was born on April 24, 1946, in Moorhead, MN, to Robert and Rosella (Hoppe) Krabbenhoft. She grew up in Sabin, MN, and graduated from Moorhead High School. She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND.

Pat Carlson, 66, Moorhead, MN, died on Saturday, February 2, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving family under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Pat Krabbenhoft was born on April 24, 1946, in Moorhead, MN, to Robert and Rosella (Hoppe) Krabbenhoft. She grew up in Sabin, MN, and graduated from Moorhead High School. She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND.

Pat married Nicklas Carlson on February 4, 1967, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin, MN, and they made their home in Hawley, MN. She worked for Nodak Insurance, Hawley Jack & Jill, Hawley Manor, and then Noridian Insurance from 1996 until 2012. Nicklas died on July 28, 1998. Pat moved to Moorhead in 2005.

Pat’s family was very important to her, she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who always put others before herself.

Pat is survived by her sons, Robert (Fiancé Isabel), Lester Prairie, MN, and Brian (Stacey), Fargo, ND; seven grandchildren, Cody, Casey, Katie, Chase, Calli, Caiden, and Alexander; brothers Curt (JoAnne) Krabbenhoft, Battle Lake, MN, Craig (Karen) Krabbenhoft, Fargo, ND, and Carter (Doreen) Krabbenhoft, Mountain Home, ID; former sister-in-law Renee Krabbenhoft; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: Friday, February 8, 2013, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.

Funeral: Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 1:00 P.M., in The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Moorhead.

Interment: Hawley Cemetery, Hawley, MN.
