Bonnie’s cremains will be interred in Abercrombie, ND in the spring.

She died on February 3, 2013 at Jenkins Living Center in Watertown.

Bonnie Borg, daughter of Lester and Winnefred (Boughton) Borg was born October 23, 1943 in Valley City, ND. This is where she was raised with her five older siblings. She attended school throughout the ninth grade.

She met Donald Kitzman in 1959 and they were united in marriage October 22, 1960. They had two children, Dana Lynn was born April 2, 1965 and Drew Alan was born September 21, 1966. Don and Bonnie lived their life in several towns due to Don’s job with Ottertail Power Company, including Harvey, ND, Casselton, ND, Sisseton, SD, Cooperstown, ND, Britton, SD, Wahpeton, ND Watertown, SD and Mesa, AZ. Bonnie worked several jobs throughout her life and retired when she moved to Watertown.

Bonnie and Don were blessed to be snowbirds for a few years residing in both Watertown and Mesa. When Don’s health began to fail, they stayed in Mesa year round until his death on September 13, 2007. Bonnie then returned to Watertown to be close to her daughter, Dana. She moved to an assisted living facility, Prairie Crossings in 2010.

Bonnie loved her new home and the staff at Prairie Crossings as if they were family. Bonnie felt she was blessed beyond measure. She had a close relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and her faith helped her through many difficult times.

She was a member of New Life Church in Watertown at the time of her death.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter Dana and husband Ronald Niemann of Clear Lake, SD; daughter-in-law, Nancy and husband Gary Suedmeier of Aberdeen, SD; five grandchildren and two great-grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Drew Kitzman (1996).
