JamesonBarbara M. Jameson, 72, of Moorhead, MN, passed away at home on Thursday, February 7, 2013. Barb was born August 4, 1940, in Breckenridge, MN, to Donald and Alice (West) VanTassel. She grew up and attended school in Breckenridge before moving to Hawley. On August 31, 1963, she married Jim Jameson in Hawley. Together they made their home and raised four children. For nearly 40 years, they served churches in Hawley, MN, Argyle, WI, Sauk Centre, MN, Perham, MN, Glyndon, MN, Chisolm, MN, and Pine City, MN, before retiring to Felton, MN. She enjoyed being outdoors and took pride in her quilting, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Barb is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Kathy (Bill) OBrien, Mary Jameson, Dan (DeAnn) Jameson, Corey (Michelle) Jameson; grandchildren, Amy, Adam, Alex and Shawn; siblings, Lyle (Jewel) VanTassel, Gary (Peggy) VanTassel, Gail (Jon) Reber, Donna (Dick) Ruby, Judy VanTassel, Debbie Rick, Bryan (Cindie) VanTassel, Timothy (Kate) VanTassel, Tammy Hasbargen, Wayne VanTassel; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Carol Platt.
Visitation: Monday, February 11, 2013, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with prayer service at 7 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Funeral: Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., in Hawley United Methodist Church, Hawley, MN.
Interment: McCaulleyville Cemetery, Kent, MN.
