Beverley Ann Johnson was born on March 21, 1931, at Gwinner, ND, the daughter of Arthur and Beulah Johnson. The family moved to Hendrum, MN, where Beverley graduated from high school in 1949. Bev married Francis Dyrendahl June 11, 1950. They were married forty-nine years when Francis passed away August 9, 1999.Bev worked a variety of jobs over the years, including day care, owner of the Hendrum Cafe with her husband, Francis, and the US Post Office. She retired from Norman County West Elementary School in Hendrum.

Bev died Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND, at eighty-one years of age.
Bev is survived by her daughter, Becky (Donovan) Kolness of Hendrum; three sons, Tim (Susan) Dyrendahl of Boulder, CO, Randy (Susan) Dyrendahl of Moorhead, MN, and Nathan (Kim) Dyrendahl of Auburn, AL; two brothers, Richard (Marsha) Johnson of Marshall, MN, and Gary (Jackie) Bentson of Byron, GA; three sisters, Myra Johnson of Hendrum, Linda (Ken) Weathers of Ortonville, MI, and Barb (Richard) Hest of Eagle Bend, MN; sister-in-law, Carol Johnson of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Chad (Michelle) Kolness of Maple Grove, MN, Ryan (Heather) Kolness of Fargo, Kirby Dyrendahl of Boulder, Nick Dyrendahl of Kindred, ND, Kristie (Brent) Olson of Moorhead, and Taten Dyrendahl of Mitchell, SD; great-grandchildren, Lydia and Quinten Kolness, Jade and Ashton Erickson, and Kenley Kolness; several nieces and nephews, along with two special girls, Kate and Kristen Harrington.
Bev was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Patti Ann; her parents; brother, John; sister, Sharon; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation: Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral: Thursday, February 14, 2012, at 2 PM, in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hendrum.
