Let Us Pause to Honor the Memory of

Mrs. Margaret Sophia Lutz Kelley

Mrs. Margaret Sophia Lutz Kelley, age 98, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on March 1, 1914 in Eckelson, North Dakota. She was the loving daughter of the late, Mathew Ralph and Pauline Augusta Martin Lutz. She was raised in Eckelson and was a 1932 graduate of Eckelson High School. She then attended and graduated from Jamestown Business College. Margaret was united in marriage to William Crist Kelley in 1945 in Valley City, North Dakota. This happy union was blessed with one daughter, Colleen. Margaret began employment in the late 1940's through the 1950's as a head clerk with the North Dakota Bureau of Worker's Comp in Bismarck, North Dakota. She then went to work as the executive secretary to the regional manager at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and retired in 1979. She was a 60 year plus member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota, the Fargo VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Fargo American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Margaret was a very patriotic lady and was proud of her husband's service to his Country. During World War II, she and her friend, Lenore, raised a victory garden to help feed the families of servicemen. She also enjoyed traveling all fifty United States. She was an avid reader and enjoyed maintaining her friendships that she had made all of her life. Margaret died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 3:47 a.m. at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY

Margaret will be missed by her loving daughter: Colleen Keith and her husband, Larry of Madison, Indiana; her loving grandson: Tyler Spencer Keith and his wife, Molly Steele Keith of New Liberty Township, Ohio; her adoring great grandson: Gavin Spencer Keith; her sister in law: Darlene Kelley of Bismarck, North Dakota; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathew Ralph and Pauline Augusta Martin Lutz; her husband, William Crist Kelley died in 1973; her brothers, Ralph Lutz, Jr., Alfred Lutz, Walter Lutz and Mathew Lutz; her sister, Almeda Kenerson; her brothers in law and sisters in law, Dr. Ralph and Evangeline Kelley Vinje; Lester Kelley and Keith Kelley; and two nephews.

FUNERAL CEREMONY

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., by Pastor Jeffrey Pflug at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Committal rites will follow on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, North Dakota.

VISITATION

Friends may call Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana, and Wednesday, February 20 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the committal service in the chapel at Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, North Dakota.

MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS

Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Peace Lutheran Church. Cards are available at the funeral home.
