Michael C. Bennefeld, 53, passed away in Goodyear, Arizona on Tuesday, 5 February 2013.

Michael was born on 25 July 1959 in Minneapolis, Mn. and his parents are Mel and Elaine Bennefeld, Fargo, ND. he was a member of Messiah Church Boy Scout Troop 244 and became an Eagle Scout in 1976 and graduated from Fargo North High in 1977 and enlisted in the ND Air National Guard and attained the rank of Sgt.

Michael was born on 25 July 1959 in Minneapolis, Mn. and his parents are Mel and Elaine Bennefeld, Fargo, ND. he was a member of Messiah Church Boy Scout Troop 244 and became an Eagle Scout in 1976 and graduated from Fargo North High in 1977 and enlisted in the ND Air National Guard and attained the rank of Sgt.

He was united in marriage to Rhonda Householder in 1980.

He received his PHD in Human Immune Systems from the University of Arizona in 2001.

He is a member of St. Joseph Church.

He was divorced from Rhonda and is survived by her and their 4 children, Michael Jr., Jessica, Jennifer and Cristina in Ohio and his special friend Chrissy and daughter Sophia, Goodyear, Arizona, parents Mel and Elaine, Fargo and sister Sheri, Woodbury, Mn.

Memorial services were held in Arizona and inurnment at the ND Veterans Cemetery at Mandan, ND will be held later this summer.
