Agnes Saima Tyson

Agnes Saima Tyson, age 100, passed away on February 23, 2013 at Hospice Family Care in Gilbert, Arizona. Agnes was born on October 8, 1912 in Des Moines, Iowa to Casper and Martine Vaubel. Agnes lived in Moorhead, Minnesota from 1945 until 1976. After the death of her husband William Saima, she moved to Mesa, AZ and remained there until her death.

In 1978 she married Dwight Tyson and enjoyed many years as a reverse snowbird. During her years in Moorhead, she attended the Moorhead Evangelical Church. She held various jobs, her last job was with Corwin Churchill in Fargo working as a swithboard operator in the Auto Parts office and held that job until she retired.

Agnes is survived by two daughters, Kay Saima Phelan (Bill) of Fargo, ND and Patsy Saima and her friend Dave of Mesa, AZ. She has 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands LaVern Harpel, William Saima and Dwight Tyson, parents, sister, two brothers, a grandson and her son Lou Harpel of Mesa, AZ. Burial will be in Moorhead, Minnesota at a later date.
