Dale L. Olson, 60, of Moorhead, MN died Friday, March 1, 2013, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Dale Lee Olson was born on July 29, 1952 in Moorhead, MN to Edward and Edna (Rundgren) Olson. He graduated from Moorhead High School and Minnesota Community and Technical College before enlisting in the United States Navy. He served in the Navy from 1972-74 and later the USNR. Dale worked for American Crystal Sugar for 34 years until retiring in May 2012. He enjoyed bowling with several different teams over the years. Dale was a lifetime member of the Moorhead VFW.

He is survived by two brothers, Daryl (Ann Marie) Olson, Jackson, MN and Dean (Sandi) Olson, Maple Grove, MN; and nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharlene Combs.

Memorial Service: Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Memorial Gathering: One hour prior to the service.

Internment: Oak Mound Cemetery, Spring 2013
