Esther P. Tietgens, Fargo, ND, wife of John C. "Jack" Tietgens, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Eventide Senior Living Community.Esther P. Tietgens was born on August 22, 1932 in Tampa, Florida. She grew up in Tampa and graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa.

Esther P. Tietgens, Fargo, ND, wife of John C. "Jack" Tietgens, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Eventide Senior Living Community.
Esther P. Tietgens was born on August 22, 1932 in Tampa, Florida. She grew up in Tampa and graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa.
Esther married John C. Tietgens on February 4, 1970. She enjoyed her work as a server, being employed over a 30 year period at Haugen's Ice Cream Parlor, Fargo, Peggy's Pantry, Moorhead, Jeff's Sidewalk Café, Fargo and The Barnstormer, at Hector Airport in Fargo.
Esther is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Tietgens, sons Marvin H. Gardner Jr (Debbie), Pensacola FL, Anthony Gardner, Richmond VA, daughters Debra Gerace (Robert), Atlanta GA, Susan Jancarek, Richmond VA, Sandra Barrett, Richmond VA, Patricia Price, Richmond VA, Jacquelyn "Jacki" Blue (Jim), Fargo ND; brother John Anthony DiLorenzo (Cosette), Tampa FL, 17 grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher, Lance, Tony, Bobby, Nakia, Rajus, Amber, Bryce, Christy, Justin, Joshua, Cortney, Ashlee, Cami, Jonny, Caileigh, and 10 great-grandchildren, Derek, Hannah, Aaron, Dillon, Dominic, Ben, Bailey, Caleb, Kaylynn, Carter.
Esther was preceded in death by her father, Anthony John DiLorenzo and mother, Clara Turner, and twin boys, Patrick John and Paul Anthony.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 6th, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hanson Runsvold Funeral Home.
Funeral: Thursday, March 7th, 1:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, Fargo.
Burial: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
