Margaret Lucille (Donner) Haen, 85 of East Grand Forks, MN, formerly of Carrington ND, passed away Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Margaret was born March 7th, 1928, in Louristan Township of Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, to August and Margaret (Fritz) Donner. She attended Montevideo Teacher’s School and taught all grades at the District 36 Louriston Country School.

Margaret Lucille (Donner) Haen, 85 of East Grand Forks, MN, formerly of Carrington ND, passed away Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Margaret was born March 7th, 1928, in Louristan Township of Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, to August and Margaret (Fritz) Donner. She attended Montevideo Teacher’s School and taught all grades at the District 36 Louriston Country School.

She married Marvin Haen on August 23, 1952, at Clara City, MN. They moved to Carrington, ND, where they owned and operated the Carrington Bakery until his death in 1988. She lived in East Grand Forks, MN, for the past 3 years.

Margaret is survived by 3 daughters, Mary (Conrad) Lundstrom of Valley City; Julie (Wayne) Baustad of Esmond , ND; Amy (Todd) Sawrey of Ada, MN; 3 sons, Mark (Suzanne) of Fargo, ND, Paul (Sue) of East Grand Forks, MN, and Tim (Julie) of Eveleth, MN; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grand-daughters; 3 brothers, August Donner and Robert Donner of Clara City, MN, and James (Shirley) Donner of Stillwater, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, 1PM-5:30PM at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington.

Prayer Service: Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Carrington.

Interment: Carrington Cemetery
