Marie Agnes Bedore, age 86, Dilworth, MN, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND, of congestive heart failure.Marie Agnes Verde was born Dec. 23, 1926, to Michael and Christine (Totta) Verde of Dilworth. She grew up in Dilworth's "Little Italy" and attended Dilworth Elementary and graduated from Dilworth High School. She worked several jobs during World War II in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Marie Agnes Bedore, age 86, Dilworth, MN, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND, of congestive heart failure.
Marie Agnes Verde was born Dec. 23, 1926, to Michael and Christine (Totta) Verde of Dilworth. She grew up in Dilworth's "Little Italy" and attended Dilworth Elementary and graduated from Dilworth High School. She worked several jobs during World War II in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
On Jan. 8, 1948, Marie was united in marriage with Francis Bedore. They lived in "Little Italy". Through the years she was known for her spaghetti sauce and homemade ravioli, lasagna, manicotti and spaghetti. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Church in Dilworth all of her life and took part in preparing the delicious spaghetti dinners the church puts on twice a year. She moved to Moorhead in October 2010; Serenity Assisted Living, Dilworth, in April 2012; and to Elim Rehab and Care Center, Fargo, ND, in October 2012.
Marie is survived by seven children, Michael (Sue) Bedore, Ada, MN; Edward (Becky) Bedore, Eden Prairie, MN; Francis (Patty) Bedore, Hawley, MN; Thomas (Janice Huwe) Bedore, Glyndon, MN; David (Catherine) Bedore, Brandon, MN; Mary (Paul) Fluto, Hawley; and John (Kim) Bedore, Dilworth; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; a brother, Ernest Verdi, Thorhold, Ont.; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis, who died in 2002; and brother, John Verdi.
Pallbearers are Edward, Evan, Fran, John and Michael Bedore, and Joshua and Tyler Fluto. Honorary pallbearers are all of Marie's grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, 4 PM to 7 PM, in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Dilworth, with a prayer service at 7. Mass of Christian burial: Monday, March 18, 2013, at 11 AM, in the church. Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
