Adeline Samek, 72, Jamestown, ND died Friday afternoon March 15, 2013 at the Elim Care Center in Fargo, ND

Adeline Heintz was born October 16, 1940 at Rugby, ND, the daughter of Anton and Frances (Mack) Heintz. She received her education at Sykeston, ND and grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm.

Adeline Heintz was born October 16, 1940 at Rugby, ND, the daughter of Anton and Frances (Mack) Heintz. She received her education at Sykeston, ND and grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm.

She and Frank Samek were married October 27, 1965. They made their home on a farm near Wimbledon, ND where they farmed. Adeline later received a CNA certification and was employed at the Cooperstown Nursing Home and Hi-Acres Manor. In 2005 they retired and moved into Jamestown. In 2008 she entered Eventide at Hi-Acres and later moved to Elim in Fargo.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, being active with the Altar Society and St. Mary's Circle.

She is survived by her husband, 4 children, Denise (Douglas) Lowry, Springfield, OR, Wade, Superior, AZ, Edward (Jana) West Fargo, ND, Renee (Cory) Lura, Fargo, ND, 8 grandchildren, 4 brothers, Zeno (Darlene) , Jamestown, ND; Anton (Debbie), Dallas, TX; Eugene (Diane) Frisco, TX; James (Brenda), Dallas, TX; 3 sisters, Beatrice (Luverne) Gussiaas, New Rockford, ND; Rosemary Harris, Billings, MT; Betty Heintz, Minot, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Frank Jr, 2 brothers and 1 sister, Daniel, Dennis and Magdelina Bonogofsky.

Eucharist of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday March 20, 2013 in the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, ND with Father Al Bitz presiding.

Interment: St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery at Wimbledon, ND. (Spring)

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Church

Visitation: 9-5 Tuesday at the Funeral Home and before both services at the church.
