The funeral for Ruth L. Schweigert, Edgeley, ND will be Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church at Edgeley, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williams-Lisko Funeral Home, Edgeley, ND. Burial will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.

Ruth Kreutsberg was born July 28, 1929 in Edgeley, ND, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (Spitzer) Kreutsberg. She graduated from High School in Upland, Indiana. She then moved with her family to Jamestown, ND. Ruth worked at the Anne Carlson Center and Pred’s Clothing Store for some time.

Ruth Kreutsberg was born July 28, 1929 in Edgeley, ND, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (Spitzer) Kreutsberg. She graduated from High School in Upland, Indiana. She then moved with her family to Jamestown, ND. Ruth worked at the Anne Carlson Center and Pred’s Clothing Store for some time.

She met Oliver Schweigert and was married August 12, 1951, in the small Willow Grove Country Church, Northeast of Edgeley. They lived and farmed in Medberry where they purchased a farm. They moved in 1980 to a small farm two miles west of the family farm. Oliver passed away in 1995 and Ruth moved into Edgeley in an apartment that she thoroughly enjoyed. On February 25, 2013, Ruth moved into the Manor St. Joseph where she had the best of care.

Ruth Lee Schweigert, Edgeley, ND went to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 17, 2013, from the Manor St. Joseph in Edgeley. She was 83 years old.

Ruth is survived by her son, David, and his wife Denette. She has two grandchildren: Brandon (Tausha) Schweigert and Danielle (Brock) Schulz, and three great grandchildren: Braydin Schweigert, Amanda and Kelton Schulz, one sister, Doris (Lyle) Applegarth of Lancaster, South Carolina, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers Bob and infant brother, David, three sisters, Betty, Margaret, and an infant sister, Helen.
