Family and friends were very important to Dan. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Holidays, family reunions or just visiting over a cup of coffee would find much laughter and storytelling. Dan especially loved spending time with his grandchildren at school, church and sporting events. He loved to read, watch country westerns, and was a faithful believer in the Minnesota Vikings! Dan is remembered best for his compassionate heart, sense of humor, strength and integrity. He truly will be missed by those whose lives he touched.

Dan is survived by his wife, Sharon of Dilworth, MN; daughter, Alice (Greg) Swanson; son, John (Lisa) Tack; son, Matt (LuAnn) Tack; daughter, Danni (Ronnie) Schiltz; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Jack (Lois) Tack; brother, Ben Tack; sister, Cleo (Tom) Lealos and many nieces and nephews.
