Mervin had a quirky sense of humor and a twinkle in his eye. He loved to weld and ‘fix’ things, which meant lots of unfinished projects. He square danced, traveled with a van or camper, read Zane Grey books and loved his canine companions, Tuffy (RIP), Wishbone and Oreo.

His heart remained in Minnesota and he will be buried at a future date at Norman Lutheran Cemetery rural Gary, MN.
