She was born July 27, 1975 in Greybull, WY. She grew up in Wyoming with a love of time spent breaking and training horses, hunting, and many other outdoor activities with her family. She graduated from Faith Baptist High School in 1993, and then attended college in Sheridan. Liesa was proud to have earned her Certified Pharmacy Technician with an Associate Degree of Applied Science from North Dakota State College of Science.

Liesa met the love of her life, Jeremy Hill, and six weeks later they were married on May 16, 1994. They made their home in Wyoming, and together they managed a nursing home in Big Horn. In 2000, Liesa and Jeremy moved to Oakes. Liesa was employed at Hardware Hank, the Oakes Community Hospital, and was currently working at Total Home and Visto Car Quest. Liesa was also President of the Oakes Ambulance.

Her hobbies included working out, gardening, and decorating; but what she loved the most was spending time with Jeremy, Aspen and Tristin, and friends and family. Liesa was an awesome cook, even brewing up something over an open campfire for everyone to enjoy. Liesa was a fireball and did everything to the max in a very focused and determined manner. She was a giver of her time and talents, and lovingly opened up her home to everyone. Liesa was an active member of the Oakes Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School and was part of the Worship Team.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Jeremy; their 2 children, Aspen (age 7) and Tristin (age 5); her father and mother, Brant and Nancy Sanderson of Banner, WY; two brothers, Shane (Lisa) Sanderson of Wyoming and Brandon (Sarah) Sanderson of Oakes; a sister, Nikki (Brad) Vail of Wyoming; and Grandma Nan Sanderson of Wyoming. Liesa is also survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Myrna and Gerald Ferm, birth mother, Lenny Stearns, grandparents Roger and Kate Johnson, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Liesa was preceded in death by Grandpa & Grandma Brewer, Grandpa Sanderson, and her nephew, Logan Marcus Hill.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Oakes Church of the Nazarene from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. Her funeral will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. also at Oakes Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow at the Oakes View Cemetery.
