Donald C. Taraba

Don Taraba, 84 of Sun City AZ, formerly of Fargo, ND, past away under the care of Hospice in Sun City. Don was born to Mary and Laudie Taraba on a farm north of Belfield, ND.

He married Shirley Taraba on Feb. 21st, 1958. He brought in one of the first oil wells in ND. He was in the service for 9 months, worked at a Chevy garage in Belfield and North Port Texaco in Fargo. Don became disabled and could no longer work.

Don enjoyed going to the casino, playing in the vegetable garden, planting flowers and giving people a hard time.

He is survived by his wife Shirley of Sun City, AZ; three daughters: Shelly Jendro of Fargo, Debra Taraba of Peoria, AZ, Patty (Brad) Halvorson of West Fargo; 6 grand children: Casie of Fargo, Jamie of Fargo, Chris of Peoria, Justin of Peoria, Ryan of Lake Village, IN, Josh (Lynn) Halvorson of Fargo; 2 great-grand children: Jamie and Kaylie of Fargo. Don is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be at a later date.
