Inez Moen

Inez Moen, 86 of Fargo, passed away on Tuesday, July 2nd after a brief stay in the hospital. Inez was born on March 21, 1927 near Maddock, ND to John and Ilma Sundell.

During World War II, Inez was a welder at the Puget Sound Navel Ship Yard in Washington State, a fact she was very proud of.

Inez moved to Fargo and worked at the Biltmore for many years. She was known to her customers as Inee Moe. She loved working with and serving people.

After her retirement from the Biltmore she worked at the Brownie Bakery and later took care of her grandchildren.

At 86 she was still living on her own and driving her car. She, along with her family, was extremely proud of her independence. She loved rummaging and caring for her beautiful flowers.

Her family was the focus of her life. She loved getting visits from her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was always there for anyone who needed help. One day after a day of running errands a neighbor who had watched her come and go throughout the day asked her, “What is it you do all day?” With pride in her voice she replied, “I help people, that’s what I do.” She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Inez is survived by her children Deborah (Roger) Thorseth of Fargo, Douglas Anderson (Janis) of Sturgis, SD, Terry Anderson (Mona) of West Fargo, Sandra (Robert) Koiner of Fargo, Kristi Moen of Fargo, along with 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Arrangements entrusted to the care of Boulger Funeral Home. To view the complete obituary and to sign the online guestbook, please visit www.boulgerfuneralhome.com.
