Kendall John Erickson

Kendall John Erickson, 51, of Gwinner, passed away on July 5, 2013 at Sanford Health in Fargo, after a brave and courageous ten month battle with cancer.

Kendall was born on December 8, 1961 to Kenneth and Clarice (Hegle) Erickson in Oakes. He graduated from North Sargent High School in Gwinner in 1980. He had worked at Ray-Mac, Inc. for the last 20 years before becoming sick. He met the love of his life while moose hunting in 1993.

Kendall John Erickson, 51, of Gwinner, passed away on July 5, 2013 at Sanford Health in Fargo, after a brave and courageous ten month battle with cancer.

Kendall was born on December 8, 1961 to Kenneth and Clarice (Hegle) Erickson in Oakes. He graduated from North Sargent High School in Gwinner in 1980. He had worked at Ray-Mac, Inc. for the last 20 years before becoming sick. He met the love of his life while moose hunting in 1993.

He married Dana Stremick on July 30, 1994 in Walhalla. Kendall and Dana were blessed to adopt Faith Christina in 2005. Kendall loved to hunt and fish. He also loved the Minnesota Vikings. He enjoyed spending time at Ebert's Resort at Star Lake, MN.

Kendall is survived by his wife Dana; daughter Faith, both of Gwinner; brothers: Jerry (Peggy), Curt (Bonita), Mick, all of Gwinner, and CC (Cindy) of West Fargo. He is also survived by his parents in- law Dan and Vera Stremick of Walhalla; sisters in-law Kim (Bruce) Carmichael, Dickinson, and Beth (David ) Jeffrey, Garrison; and aunt Joyce Bjork, Forman. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he loved and cherished and four cousins.

Kendall was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, uncle Norman Bjork, and great-niece Jade Dean Curtis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Gwinner First Responders, Milnor Ambulance, or charity of your choice.

Visitation: Tuesday from 5-7 at Armstrong Funeral Home in Lisbon

Funeral: Wednesday at 10:30 at GA Lutheran Church in Gwinner

Burial: Gwinner Cemetery
