Ronald Lester Hazer

Ronald Lester Hazer passed away peacefully at Sanford Palliative Care on Friday July 12, 2013. He was under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. He lost his courageous battle with lung cancer. He was 69 years old.

Ron was born on Jan 20, 1944, to Lester and Rose (Guizzetti) Hazer in Jamestown, ND. On March 19,1981 he was united in marriage to Debra Klemisch of Langdon, ND. They settled in West Fargo. Ron was an independent truck driver for many years. More recently, He was the owner/operator of Aaction Auto in West Fargo.

Ron worked hard and played hard in his life. He never complained. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and a good game of cards (liar’s poker). He had a passion for getting a good deal and treasured his Buick Riviera.

Ron is survived by his wife of 32 years Debra Hazer, his daughter Chanda Klemisch. His father Lester Hazer. His Siblings: Elaine Dahl, Duane Hazer, Lillian Sors, Glenda (Lucas) Meuchels and Deborah (David) Overboe. His two grandchildren Jaida and Noah Thomte.

He was preceded in death by his mother Rose Hazer.

Ron requested that there would be no formal church service. A Celebration of Life will be held at West Funeral Home on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 4 PM with reception to follow. Ron’s wish to be cremated was granted and his ashes scattered in his favorite places in the future. Free from imperfections may he rest in peace.
