Gregory G. Trostad, 59, lost his battle to cancer on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in his home in Moorhead surrounded by his loving family, and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Gregory Gale Trostad was born on January 25, 1954 in Duluth, MN, to Alden and MaryLou (Gude) Trostad. He grew up in MN, SD and IL. Greg enjoyed working for Gateway Building Systems in West Fargo. He loved spending time with his family, fishing and target shooting.

Greg is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty”; one daughter, Jade (Chris) and two sons, Nathaniel (Crystal) and Michael (Crystal), all of Moorhead; five grandchildren, James, Hunter, Natalie, Jalin and Mason, all of them were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, Jeff (Susan) Trostad, GA and two sisters, Linda (Ed) Aquilino, NJ and Robin (Jim)Trostad-Murray, TX; and many nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jesse, Meagan, Ryan, Alonna, Tracy, Stacy, Marty, Sara, Joy, Garrett, Cheskae.
