Berneice "Betty" Baanna, age 77, St. Cloud, MN died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. A second service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Salem Evangelical Free Church East Campus, 1111 30th Ave. S., Moorhead, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Hamar Cemetery, Rothsay, MN.

Berneice "Betty" Baanna, age 77, St. Cloud, MN died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her home.

Betty was born March 5, 1936 in Medina, ND to Theophilus and Alma (Bader) Dammel. She graduated from Medina High School in 1952 and attended Interstate Business College, Fargo, ND and Oak Hills Bible College, Bemidji, MN. Betty married Clarence Hehn in 1954. They later divorced. In 1977 she was united in marriage to Allen Baanna in Fargo, ND. They served together in a pastorate in Bemidji and in international missions since 1983, living in Vienna, Austria and Riga, Latvia.

Survivors include her husband, Al Baanna of St. Cloud, MN; children, Michael Hehn of Sartell, MN; Steve Hehn of Sartell, MN; and Julie (Derek) Johnson of Loveland, CO; brother, Leonard (Bonnie) Dammel of Minot, ND; sister, Diana (Harold) Miller of Page, ND; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
