Anita Rae Finck, 58, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Sanford Health in Fargo after a battle with cancer.

Anita was born in Edmore, ND to Lloyd and Marilyn Bakken. She was the fourth child out of eight. She graduated from Bowman High School in 1973 and went on to attend NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND. She married Michael Finck on May 3, 1975. They were blessed with three children. Her hobbies included sewing, baking, and gardening. She was a very creative person. She was extremely giving and caring. Anita always thought about others before herself. She worked in the mortgage and loan industry with her most recent job being at TRN Title & Abstract.

Anita is survived by her husband, Michael Finck; her son, Justin (Kayla), son, Tyler (Amanda), daughter, Lacey (Bryan), and her mother, Marilyn. Surviving siblings are brother, Lloyd (Patricia) Bakken, brother, Paul (Shirley) Bakken, brother, Dennis Bakken, sister, Rebecca (Barry) Mason, brother, Owen (Deanna) Bakken, sister, Patty (Steve) Schiermeister, and brother, David (Pia) Bakken. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anita was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Bakken.

There will be a funeral service at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
