Harold Orjansen

68, died Saturday September 7, 2013, at his home in Bremerton WA.

Harold was born June 19, 1945 in Bergen, Norway to Jacob & Johanna Orjansen. He was brought to the United States in 1956, and the family made their home in Perley, MN. After high school, Harold served in the US Navy, and was assigned to the USS Hornet during the Vietnam War. Leaving the military in 1970, he lived most of his life in either MN or WA states, preferring WA because it reminded him geographically of Norway. He was an avid fisherman, equally at home on a lake or on the ocean, but also enjoyed woodworking, a hobby at which he was becoming quite skilled.
