Allie was born and raised in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Jay and Patti (Land) Risk. She attended elementary school at Grimsrud, junior high at Horizon Middle School, and would have been a sophomore this year at Century High School. Allie loved music, singing, and playing piano. She spent time with friends as much as possible. She was a part of the youth group at Evangel and loved attending services and events there. Allie enjoyed being outside enjoying nature-she liked catching butterflies and catching bugs. Since a very young age, she loved riding rollercoasters and going to fairs. Purple was her favorite color. She was so kind and had such a tender spirit. She touched the lives of many, many people and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Allie spent the last 1 ½ years in Cincinnati, at the Children’s Hospital, treating complications from a bone marrow transplant. She missed everyone and everything in Bismarck. We were able to bring her “home” two weeks before she died-that is where she wanted to be.

Allie is survived by her dad, Jay; her mom, Patti; her brother, Grant; and her dogs, Tosh, Jib and Maestro.

She was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Risk and her Papa and Grandma Land.
